BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Former Florida Class 6A All-State forward Trudy Walker has signed to play women’s basketball at Eastern Florida State College.
Walker is a 5-foot, 10-inch graduate of Westwood High in Fort Pierce. She averaged 17.4 points, 11.9 rebounds and 3.6 steals per game en route to also being a Florida Athletic Coaches Association state all-star as a senior.
Walker joins Bria McKinney of Alief Taylor High School in Houston, Skokie, Illinois Niles North High School product Kienya Jones, Covenant Christian School graduate and St. Thomas University transfer Emma Grimes of Palm Bay, Cocoa High graduate Dysheka Price, Pinellas County Palm Harbor University High School product Chardonay Aldrich, Port St. Lucie Treasure Coast High’s Evelyn Sagner and St. Petersburg’s Zoi Thompson of Northeast High as Titans signees.

Last season Eastern Florida finished 22-8, winning its first Southern Conference title since 2002 and reaching the NJCAA Region 8/FCSAA Tournament for the first time since 2002.
