The Melbourne International Airport host a public meeting regarding the proposed new Air Traffic Control Tower on Wednesday, July 15.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Melbourne International Airport host a public meeting regarding the proposed new Air Traffic Control Tower on Wednesday, July 15.

The meeting will be held in the Melbourne Airport Authority Board Room, located at 1 Air Terminal Parkway in Melbourne, beginning at 8 a.m.

The Comparative Safety Assessment Panel is meeting to discuss all aspects of the site selection.

The Comparative Safety Assessment Panel will include Airport and Federal Aviation Administration representatives, and the public is encouraged to attend; particularly active pilots and aircraft operators that utilize airport movement areas.

The meeting will begin with an overview of the three sites under consideration and a discussion of the Comparative Safety Assessment Panel process, followed by a detailed review of the specific challenges and issues associated with each site.
