NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Storm coverage will be a little more limited today, due to some drier air over the region.

The highest storm coverage this afternoon will be over the interior sections, after sea breezes drift inland from both coasts.

The outlook for Independence Day calls for a higher coverage of afternoon storms, with drift back toward the east coast into the evening hours.
