ORLANDO, FLORIDA – Orlando City SC will resume U.S. Open Cup (USOC) play on Wednesday, July 22, when the Lions travel to Toyota Park to face the Chicago Fire in the quarterfinals.

Kick-off is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET.

The match will be live streamed via www.OrlandoCitySC.com/Live.

“We know it’s not going to be easy. They have a lot of tools that can hurt you with several dynamic forward players,” said head coach Adrian Heath.

“We just have to go and do our job and concentrate on what we have to do. It’s a place that we’ve been to recently and won so we know we’re capable of going there and getting a result.”

Orlando City and the Chicago Fire have met once in Open Cup play, previously facing each other in the quarterfinals – City’s furthest run in the nation’s oldest tournament.

The all-time record between both clubs currently stands at 1-1-0 after Orlando defeated the Fire earlier this season in dramatic fashion, winning 3-2 at Toyota Stadium.

The Lions advanced into the quarterfinals after defeating the Charleston Battery and Columbus Crew SC in previous rounds, extending City’s USOC record to 10-4-0.

The Fire venture into Wednesday’s fixture after recording victories against USL clubs Louisville City and the Charlotte Independence.

Chicago are one of the most successful MLS Clubs in the history of the Open Cup – winning four trophies since joining the league in 1997.
