A 47-year old Palm Bay woman was killed Sunday at about 2:30 p.m. at Malabar Road and Glatter Road in Malabar, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

BREVARD COUNTY • MALABAR, FLORIDA – A 47-year old Palm Bay woman was killed Sunday at about 2:30 p.m. at Malabar Road and Glatter Road in Malabar, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

FHP said the woman, driving a 1994 Dodge pick up truck, was traveling eastbound on Malabar Road, and for an unknown reason, left the roadway and overturned multiple times, coming to rest in a ditch.

The victim, who has not been identified pending notification of next-of-kin, was not wearing a seatbelt, according to FHP.

Steven Ash, 16, of Palm Bay, received minor injuries in the crash and was transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center. According to FHP, Ash was not wearing a seat belt.

The crash remains under investigation.
