Space Coast Tech Council To Discuss Impact of Drones During July 23 Meeting

ABOVE VIDEO: The Space Coast Tech Council hosted the Next Generation Energy Dinner and mini-Expo.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Impact of Drones, Robotics and Unmanned Systems on the Global and Florida Marketplace will be the topic at the July 23, 2015 Quarterly Dinner & Mini-Expo, hosted by the Space Coast Tech Council.

The event will be held at the Holiday Inn & Conference Center, located at 8298 N. Wickham Road in Viera. Exhibits open at 5 p.m. and the program begins at 6:15 p.m.

The SCTC is extremely pleased to partner with the Association of Unmanned Vehicle Systems International(AUVSI) for this event.

The event begins with attendees interacting at exhibits with companies offering products and services in Unmanned Systems, Drones and Robotics industries. The mini-expo is followed by a plated dinner and a program featuring a moderator and three industry experts.

John D. Lambert

Moderating the panel presentations will be John D. Lambert, Captain, United States Navy (Retired). Lambert has more than 30 years experience in unmanned systems, acquisition program management, and naval operations.

He is currently the President and CEO of Unmanned Systems Research and Consulting, LLC, the Senior Vice President of Nexutech and a part-time Research Associate at the University of Central Florida’s Institute for Simulation and Training.

As a volunteer, Lambert served on the AUVSI Board of Directors from 2003 to 2013, serving as their President and Chairman of the Board from August 2009 to August 2011.
