Attempted Murder Suspects Arrested By Titusville Police Department

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – The Titusville Department arrested Trevor Deonte Strozier and Dominic Michaud Bland around 3:45 p.m. on Friday at 2190 Knox McCrae Drive in Titusville.

On August 1, officers responded to a report of a shooting on Day Street. Arriving officers discovered a black Toyota Highlander crashed into a tree with two people shot inside.

A third person inside had minor injuries, but was not shot.

On August 2, an arrest warrant for four counts of Attempted Murder was issued for Strozier, 17, of 901 Kenilworth Court Titusville, according Titusville Police Department spokesperson Amy Matthews.

The investigation revealed that Strozier fired multiple shots into the Highlander and fled the scene in a dark colored sedan driven by Bland.

Bland, 23, of Titusville, was charged with four counts of Attempted Murder, Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding, Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer with a Deadly Weapon and Reckless Driving, according to Matthews.

Intense investigation, and utilizing tips from the community, the Titusville Crime Suppression Unit teamed up with the Brevard County GAMEOVER Task Force in the search efforts to apprehend Strozier and Bland.

Strozier was booked into the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice and Bland was booked at the Brevard County Jail.

Both suspects are in jail on a no bond status.
