BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – An exciting month is planned at the Enchanted Forest Sanctuary.
Join the Enchanted Forest in August for one of the many programs and events offered. All events are free.
Every Saturday at 10 a.m. – Guided Walk:
Enjoy a 45-minute guided, interpretive hike on the trails of the Enchanted Forest Sanctuary. Please bring hat, water and walking shoes. No reservations needed. Groups of 5 or more, please RSVP.
Saturday, Aug. 1 and Wed, Aug. 19, 3 p.m. – 4 p.m. – Volunteer Orientation:
The Enchanted Forest Sanctuary is looking for dynamic individuals with a passion for the environment! Come learn about the various volunteer opportunities.
Saturday, Aug. 8, 2 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – Reptile & Snake Presentation:
Learn about some of the Enchanted Forest’s reptile residents and meet a red rat snake!
Saturday, Aug. 15, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. – Photography Club:
Program for all levels of photography. View photographs and learn helpful tips. This program is free and reservations are not required.
Sunday, Aug. 16, 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. – Forest Funday -Beat the Heat:
Children and families are invited to learn about how animals have adapted to live in the Florida heat and to make a craft anytime between 2 p.m and 4 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 29, 11 a.m. – “Surviving Florida: Human Adaptation To The Sunshine State”:
Join Kevin Gidusko, Florida Public Archaeology Network, for a special presentation on how humans of the past survived the Florida climate and environment.
