BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – In response to the potential impact of Tropical Storm Erika, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office will be distributing free sandbags to residents.

Citizens can respond to the Brevard Sheriff’s Farm, 2955 Pluckebaum Road, Cocoa, on Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

There is a limit of 10 sandbags per vehicle. The bags will be filled and loaded into the vehicles by supervised Inmate Work Crews.
