61-year old Daytona Beach woman was killed Thursday afternoon in a single vehicle crash on I-95 in Brevard County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
A 61-year old Daytona Beach woman was killed Thursday afternoon in a single vehicle crash on I-95 in Brevard County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A 61-year old Daytona Beach woman was killed Thursday afternoon in a single vehicle crash on I-95 in Brevard County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The victim, who was driving a  1993 Toyota, was traveling northbound on I-95 and for an unknown reason lost control and left the roadway. The front of the victim’s Toyota struck the guardrail.

The victim was transported to Viera Hospital where she died, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin, and the crash remains under investigation.
