Tad P. Moran, 72, of Indialantic, was killed Sunday when he suffered a medical episode while traveling southbound on State Road A1A and crashed with another vehicle, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

BREVARD COUNTY • SATELLITE BEACH, FLORIDA – Tad P. Moran, 72, of Indialantic, was killed Sunday when he suffered a medical episode while traveling southbound on State Road A1A and crashed with another vehicle, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Moran, driving a 2013 Toyota Camry, crashed with Trisha Marie Hee, 27, of Satellite Beach, who was driving a 2008 Honda pickup truck on State Road A1A near Coral Sea Way Sunday at 12:10 p.m.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol,  after the vehicles collided, Moran then veered off the road to the east shoulder and struck a block wall.

Hee was not injured and both drivers were wearing seat belts, according to FHP.

This crash remains under investigation.
