Michele Famighetti, 52, of Melbourne, was killed on Saturday night about 8:53 p.m. in a one vehicle crash at Pinehurst Avenue and Las Palmas Way in Melbourne.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Michele Famighetti, 52, of Melbourne, was killed on Saturday night about 8:53 p.m. in a single vehicle crash at Pinehurst Avenue and Las Palmas Way in Melbourne.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Famighetti was traveling northbound in a 2002 Toyota SUV on N. Pinehurst Avenue, and for an unknown reason, left the roadway and traveled into the median.

The left front of the Toyota collided with a palm tree and came to final rest partially in the median and the roadway.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Famighetti was wearing a seatbelt and the crash remains under investigation.
