New Signage Installed At Florida Tech Panther Stadium As Opening Game Looms

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Tech and Palm Bay Magnet High School unveiled a new midfield logo and stadium signage last Friday at Florida Tech Panther Stadium.

Replacing the pirate head logo is a red “P” inside a gray circle with a black border. Other additions include a metal sign reading “Florida Tech Panther Stadium” that spans along the back side of the west stands and a smaller sign of the same design on the front of the west press box.

FIT and Palm Bay Magnet High School announced in late July the purchase of naming rights for PBMHS’s football stadium, home of Panther football as well as men’s and women’s lacrosse. This agreement is for three years with the option for two additional years.

The Panthers’ football program has played at Palm Bay Magnet High School since its inaugural 2013 season. This spring, the men’s lacrosse team and the first-year women’s lacrosse team played all their home games at the 4,980-seat facility.

FIT Football will play five home games this fall starting with its season opener on Saturday, Sept 5 at 7 p.m. against Newberry. The game marks the Panthers’ annual White Out Game presented this season by Florida Tech University Online.

The Panthers will also host Warner on Sept. 19 at 7 p.m., West Alabama on Oct. 10 at 7 p.m., Shorter on Oct. 31 at 7 p.m. and West Georgia on Nov. 7 at 1 p.m. in their Homecoming Game on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app.

Season and individual game tickets are available. Premium season tickets are only $70 for adults and $45 for FIT employees with ID, seniors ages 65 and above and children ages 5-16.

General admission season tickets are $50 for adults and $30 for FIT employees, seniors and children.

Individual game tickets are $16 for reserved seating. General admission is $12 for adults and $6 for seniors ages 65 and above, children ages 5-16 and FIT employees with school ID. Entrance for children ages four and under is free.
