NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Here’s a look at the next five days.

Afternoon thunderstorm chances will steadily increase, reaching their peak on Saturday as a strong cold front approaches the state.

Considerable cloudiness this weekend will help keep temperatures in the 80s.

Spoiler Alert: The cold front will lose much of its momentum by the time it reaches Central Florida. Don’t expect any cool down just yet (it is still early September, after all).
