Cove Merchants Association Prepares For Pink Ribbon Festival Oct. 3 At Port Canaveral

BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – The Cove Merchants Association from Port Canaveral held their monthly meeting Thursday at Fishlips Waterfront Restaurant and Grill.
The group of passionate business owners are preparing for their 7th annual Pink Ribbon Festival set for Saturday, October 3 next to the Exploration Tower at the Port.
“We are excited for this event and we hope to raise more important funds for the Space Coast Cancer Foundation,” said
The CMA has raised more than $100,000 for charities over the past several years and will receive a Central Florida Humanitarian Award on November 5 for its history of philanthropic giving.
“We have an awesome group of business owners at the port who are passionate about helping others and building up our community”, said Voncile Franklin CMA President. “We are all blessed to have such a great and vibrant port”.
The group is made up of restauranteurs, retailers, seafood wholesalers, entertainment and other business professionals who all take great pride in their affiliation with one of the world’s busiest port.
