The Florida Highway Patrol is seeking a hit-and-run driver after a pedestrian was struck at Clearlake Road and Highland Court Saturday at about 6:14 p.m.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The Florida Highway Patrol is seeking a hit-and-run driver after a pedestrian was struck at Clearlake Road and Highland Court Saturday at about 6:14 p.m.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a yellow Ford Mustang was traveling northbound on Clearlake Road as Shane Stockstill, 34, of Cocoa was crossing Clearlake Road, north of Highland Court.

The front of Mustang struck Stockstill and the Mustang then fled the scene. Stockstill was taken to Holmes Regional Medical Center in serious condition.

This crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
