FOUND: Missing Boy Cole Monda, 11, of Cocoa Beach Found Safe Near Home

Cole Monda was located, unharmed, in the area of Cedar Avenue and Minutemen Causeway by members of the Cocoa Beach community. Monda was subsequently reunited with his family by law enforcement.
No foul play is suspected, according to Maj. Scott Rosenfeld of the Cocoa Beach Police Department.
“It was learned that yesterday evening, Monda returned home later than his allotted time, and believed he was going to be in trouble with his family,” said Maj. Rosenfeld in a release.
“Therefore, he travelled to an area near Cedar Avenue and Formosa Drive, sought shelter from the rain under a tarp, and fell asleep.”

FDLE Issues Missing Child Alert For Cole Monda, 11, of Cocoa Beach
BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a Missing Child Alert for Cole Monda, 11, of Cocoa Beach early Friday morning.
According to the Cocoa Beach police, Monda was last seen around 6 p.m. near his home on Thursday evening near the 130 block of Oak Drive in Cocoa Beach.
Monda is 4-foot-2 inches tall, weighs about 60 pounds, and has blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing khaki shorts, black shirt and no shoes.
The Cocoa Beach police, Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement are leading the search efforts, and ask that anyone who has information as to the whereabouts of Monda to call the Cocoa Beach police at 321-868-3251.
