BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The Florida Highway Patrol reports that motorcyclist Gustavo Ulloa Garcia, 41, of Palm Bay, was killed Saturday night in a crash with a pickup truck at 10:20 p.m. at the intersection of Malabar Road and Shiflett Lane.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Roberto Buigues Lesta, 59, of Palm Bay, was exiting a driveway in a Chevy pickup truck at 1840 Malabar Road and failed to yield to Garcia’s right of way.

Garcia’s Yamaha motorcycle then hit the pickup truck, throwing Garcia on to the roadway.

Garcia, who was not wearing a helmet, was transported to Palm Bay Hospital where he died.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, this crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
