NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – High rain chances (60% – 80%) are in the forecast today as an early season cold front moves towards the Florida Panhandle.

Expect fast-moving showers and thunderstorms north and west of Interstate-4 late this morning spreading south and increasing in coverage this afternoon.

If you plan on spending time outdoors today, be sure to remain weather aware and act quickly at the first sight of threatening weather.
