Brevard Schools Foundation Welcomes Newest Members To Team

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard Schools Foundation welcomes two new members to their office and one new member to their board: Keith Gee, Program Manager for Take Stock in Children; Julia Bomalaski, Marketing Intern; and Richard P. Miller, Newest Board Member.

Keith Gee is the new Program Manager for Take Stock in Children. He brings a passion for helping others along with a strong desire to make our great county even better. Gee believes strongly in education, stemming from his parents who were both school teachers, and has an MBA from Columbia Southern University. In his spare time he volunteers as a teacher for Viera High School’s marching band.

“I’ve spent my entire career in nonprofit management and I’m thrilled to be part of the Brevard Schools Foundation team,” said Gee.

Julia Bomalaski is filling the Marketing Intern position. She is a recent Florida State University graduate, where she studied studio art and art history. Bomalaski discovered her passion for marketing through advertising internships and looks forward to expanding her marketing experience while helping her community.

Richard P. Miller is the newest Brevard Schools Foundation board member. Miller is a Certified Financial Planner with Mille and Hurt Financial Group located in Rockledge. He and his wife, Barbi, are long term Brevard County residents. Barbi has been a teacher at Palm Bay Elementary School since 1998. They are involved in the community through Special Olympics, Future Problem Solving, Club Esteem, Brevard Public Schools, Aging Matters, and Brevard Schools Foundation.

“We are thrilled to welcome these talented and strong additions to our team and we look forward to working together to help strengthen our mission of enhancing education in Brevard Public Schools,” said foundation director Janice Kershaw.

Brevard Schools Foundation is the nonprofit direct support organization for Brevard Public Schools that matches community resources with the needs of the schools.

Brevard Schools Foundation recently ranked 16th in the nation and 1st in its division amongst America’s largest education foundations for supporting public education.
