BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa Police Detectives and Agents with the Game Over Task Force arrested a second suspect in connection with last week’s armed robbery Pinky’s Discount Beverage, located at 950 Dixon Boulevard.

Rasheem Jones, 20, faces charges of armed robbery, grand theft and aggravated assault with a firearm, according to Cocoa Police Public Information Officer Yvonne Martinez.

“He (Jones) also made admissions to his involvement in two unrelated residential burglaries and detectives will close those cases with additional charges against Jones,” said Martinez in a release.

Detectives located Jones at a home in the 1000 block of Bellafonte Avenue after following numerous investigative leads.

His co-defendant, Cameron Lewis, who fired a shot from a small handgun toward the clerk as the pair fled the store, was arrested on Saturday and remains in jail without bond for similar charges.
