Fire Station 6 responds to the call

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The Division of State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a residential structure fire that occurred Thursday at 540 Fondulac Street S.W. 

At 1:33 p.m., an off-duty Palm Bay firefighter called in a fire that appeared to have started in the attic of a single family home. Upon arrival of the Fire Rescue crew, the home was engulfed in flames. No one was injured during the fire.

Palm Bay’s newest fire station, Fire Station 6 which serves the southwest area, responded to the call.

Station 6 traveled in a new engine truck that is specifically designed to hold a larger amount of water to serve the southwest area. The home was a short-sale home and did not contain any personal belongings.
