Sheriff’s Office Seeks Community’s Help In Locating Missing Merritt Island Juvenile

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the community’s assistance in locating missing juvenile Jacey Lee Bateman, 17, of Merritt Island.

According to Cpl. Dave Jacobs of the Brevard County Sheriff’s office, Bateman was discovered missing on Thursday at approximately 9 a.m.

She was last seen at her residence in Merritt Island on Oct. 28 at approximately 9:30 p.m.

Bateman is approximately 5-feet tall, weighs 185 pounds, has reddish brown hair, brown eyes, and wears braces.

She was last seen wearing a black tank top and black shorts. Bateman’s method of travel is unknown and she could be headed to an unknown address in New York State.

According to Cpl. Jacobs, there is no indication to believe she is endangered at this time.
