Brevard Medical Society To Hold Annual Member Voting Session Friday

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Medical Society will hold their annual fall meeting and election of officers at the Rialto Hilton in Melbourne, Florida on Friday, Nov. 6. The social hour will begin at 6 p.m., and the dinner starts at 7 p.m.
This will be the third year that the Brevard County Medical Society has added their meeting to Space Coast Medicine Week.
As members and guests arrive, they were able to browse the vendors who supported the event, and Space Coast Daily Special Correspondent Danny Treanor will interview members and guests as they arrive on the Red Carpet.
The program will include a special presentation from Dr. Penny Ziegler, Medical Director of The Professionals Resource Network, and Treanor will also address the attendees.
Speakers for evening in addition to Treanor and Ziegler will include Dr. Lisa Cosgrove; Kris Jones, Vice President of The BACK Center and Interim Executive Director for BCMS; and Dr. Devin Datta, President of the Brevard County Medical Society.
Also in attendance will be 2015 Brevard County Medical Society Officers including President Elect, Dr. James D. Glenn; Vice President, Dr. Piyush Joshi; Treasurer, Dr. David Badolato; Secretary, Dr. Kyle Moyles; and Immediate Past President, Dr. Stephanie Haridopolos.
The 2015 BCMS Board includes Dr. Stephen Badolato, Dr. Glenn Bryan, Dr. Gobi Balaji, Dr. Lance Grenevicki, Dr. Heidar Heshmati, Dr. John H. Potomski, Jr., Dr. Sangita Sahay and Dr. Eugene F. Wawryzniak.
The Brevard County Medical Society is a professional and scientific organization of medical and osteopathic physicians in Brevard County, Florida that was established in 1904. It is also the local affiliate of the Florida Medical Association, and is a member of the Federation of Medicine.
Although membership is voluntary, physicians choose to join because they know that team efforts are most effective in attaining their goal of quality medical care for Brevardians and all Floridians.
Brevard County Medical Society Society members understand that quality medical care means being involved in patient advocacy, public information and health education, and community health affairs.
The goals of the Brevard County Medical Society are:

The Brevard County Medical Society provides an environment for physicians to come together to try to find solutions to problems facing their patients. It also provides a forum for open discussion of important socioeconomic issues facing physicians, medical practices and patients.
