Jennifer Nowlan arrested, held on $100,000 bond

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Excellent work by Melbourne Police Officer Lang, Officer Jennewein, Detective Davidson and Sergeant Desormier resulted in the arrest of a home invasion-styled occupied armed burglar, and the recovery of stolen property.

According to the Melbourne police, Officers responded to a residence where an elderly man reported that during the overnight hours someone entered his house, possibly through a rear door or window, ransacked his house, and stole his property.

Many of the items stolen were of sentimental value and very distinct.

According to police, investigators was able to identify 33-year old Jennifer Nowlan, a neighbor, as a suspect in the early morning burglary.

After conducting interviews, officers were able to get a search warrant, then recovered and returned the majority of the stolen property to the elderly victim and arrested Nowlan last Sunday.

Nowlan is being held in the Brevard County Jail on $100,000 bond.
