BCFR Responds To Overturned Fuel Tanker Truck Wreck, Malabar Road East of I-95 Now Open

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue Hazmat crews responded to a scene of a overturned gasoline tanker truck in Palm Bay near Babcock street and Malabar road Monday afternoon.

For a few hours, the scene closed down Malabar road east of I-95, including Babcock Street south of Charles Blvd. and Babcock Street north of Agora Circle.

Malabar road is now open.

The tanker contained diluted diesel fluid from the bilge pump of a cruise ship, according to Brevard Fire Rescue.

There were no reported injuries.
