Brevard County Sheriff’s Deputies Dismantle Illegal Drug Operation, Arrest Two Suspects

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office culminated an investigation concerning the sale and delivery of illegal narcotics in the unincorporated area of Cocoa, which resulted in the arrest of 33-year-old Raysean Phillips and 42-year-old Cleopatra Price, both of unincorporated Cocoa.
During the course of the investigation, Agents purchased quantities of cocaine and heroin from both suspects.
On Thursday, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at the residence located at 1324 Tarton Way, in unincorporated Cocoa.
A search of the residence revealed large quantities of illegal narcotics including heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, illegal prescription medication and precursors used for the manufacture of methamphetamine.
Nearly $30,000 in cash was seized, along with several firearms, including one reported stolen from a nearby municipality. A ballistic vest was also seized during the search.
Phillips was charged with Trafficking in Heroin, Trafficking in Cocaine, Manufacturing Cocaine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Controlled Substance W/O Prescription, Possession of Cannabis and 4 Counts of Felony Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon.
Cleopatra Price was charged with Trafficking in Heroin, Trafficking Cocaine and Possession of Methamphetamine.
Both Phillips and Price were transported to the Brevard County Jail where they are held on a no bond status.
