Brevard Sheriff’s Office Seeks Help In Identifying Armed Robbery Suspect In Micco

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Monday at the Winn Dixie Supermarket, located at 7960 Highway 1, Micco/Barefoot Bay.
At around 6 p.m,. an unidentified white male suspect was captured on video surveillance entering the store and displaying a firearm to the clerk at the customer service desk where he demanded money, according to Cpl. Dave Jacobs of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspect left the store with an unknown amount of money and possibly fled in a light brown, late 1980s or early 1990s Toyota four door vehicle.
According to Cpl. Jacobs, the suspect appeared to be in his mid-40s, with a medium build, 5-feet-5 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, has salt and pepper hair, blue eyes and appeared to be wearing a black with white striped fedora, blue Guy Harvey style shirt and tan shorts.
“We are taking this matter very seriously because the trust and safety of our customers and associates is our highest priority,” said Winn Dixie spokesperson Tiffany Hutto.
“As we are fully cooperating on this ongoing investigation, we are grateful that no one was injured in this incident and thank the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office for their timely response.”
