GMA Dove Award Winner Star Matt Maher To Appear In Indialantic Tonight

BREVARD COUNTY • INDIALANTIC, FLORIDA – Contemporary Christian recording artist and songwriter Matt Maher will appear Thursday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Indialantic.
Maher, a multiple Gospel Music Association Dove Award winner, is in the middle of “The Saints & Sinners” Tour, so named after the release of his latest album.
In the most recent GMA Dove Awards, Maher won for Songwriter of the Year – Artist, as well as Worship Song of the Year, for Because He Lives (Amen).
Because He Lives was the first release from The Saints & Sinners album. Maher has released eight albums, with three of them reaching the Top 25 Christian albums, and four of his singles soared to the Top 25 Christian songs.
When Pope Benedict XVI visited the United States in 2008, Maher lead worship in front of thousands in Yonkers, New York. And, in 2013, he performed in front of nearly 4 million people, including Pope Francis, during World Youth Day in Rio, Brazil.
Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church was able to book Maher because they have a ministry friend in north Florida that had already booked The Saints & Sinners tour, and he was able to help them secure him for their event.
Maher will be performing along with I Am They, Hannah Kerr and Jon Guerra.
