Rockledge Police Seeking To Identify SunTrust Bank Robbery Suspect

BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – The Rockledge Police Department is seeking to identify an individual pictured above who is a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred Wednesday around 12:55 p.m. at Suntrust Bank on 234 Barton Boulevard in Rockledge.
The suspect is described as a light skinned black male in his late teens – early 20s, around 5-foot-5 in height and was last seen wearing a red and blue flannel long sleeved shirt, dark colored pants and shoes.
The man was also seen in a white beanie and black thick-rimmed glasses, according to Chief Joseph LaSata of the Rockledge Police Department.
The suspect appeared to have long dreadlocks concealed under the beanie.
During the incident, the suspect presented a note to the teller and was given an unknown amount of money then left the bank on foot in a westbound direction.
It is unknown if he entered an awaiting vehicle.
