Satellite Beach Police Respond To Car Crash In Front of Pelican Park

One extricated by Satellite Beach Fire Rescue

BREVARD COUNTY • SATELLITE BEACH, FLORIDA – At around 5:15 p.m. Saturday, the Satellite Beach Police received reports of a car crash in the 1500 block of SRA1A in front of Pelican Park.

Officers from the Satellite Beach Police Department responded and found two vehicles involved in the crash.

One driver was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated by Satellite Beach Fire Rescue.

Satellite Beach Fire Rescue and Brevard County Fire Rescue provided patient care and determined that one of the driver’s injuries warranted a response by the First Flight helicopter from Holmes Regional Medical Center.

The second driver was transported by ground ambulance. Units from Brevard County Sheriffs Office assisted with traffic control.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation at this time. We wish both drivers involved a speedy recovery from their injuries.
