When a man posed with oversized snook on Instagram, his followers tipped off the Florida Fish and Wildlife.

Officers heard the picture poser was fishing from a jetty, so they conducted surveillance by watching and waiting.

Authorities spotted two suspects sneaking off the jetty looking suspicious as they proceeded to hide their illicit catch behind bushes in buckets.

FWC officers saw a car pull up, that is when the suspects popped the buckets in the trunk, jumped in and pulled away.

Officers stopped the car, cited the poachers for taking snook during the closed season and harvesting undersized snook.
