VIDEO: Brevard Sheriff’s Office Seeks Identity of Suspected Burglar In Mims

ABOVE VIDEO: The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to identify a suspect responsible for the attempted burglary of the Chevron Gas Station, located at 4412 Highway 46, Mims.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to identify a suspect responsible for the attempted burglary of the Chevron Gas Station, located at 4412 Highway 46, Mims.

The store surveillance footage captured just before midnight on December 27 shows a heavy set white male suspect approach the business and attempt to break into the store.

The suspect is seen walking along the front of the store looking inside several times before he uses a fire extinguisher to hit the glass door in an attempt to gain entry, according to Brevard County Sheriff’s Office

When he was unsuccessful at the door, he moved to a window on the east side and again used to the fire extinguisher to hit the window. After that was unsuccessful, the suspect moved to the window on the west side of the doors and attempted to gain entry again by hitting the window with the fire extinguisher.

Finally, after the suspect was unsuccessful after all three attempts, he left the area and did not return.
