GOP front-runner Donald Trump will hold a fundraiser event at Drake University for veterans in lieu of participating in the Republican debate Thursday night in Des Moines, Iowa.
Drake University is just three miles away from where Fox News will hold the sixth GOP debate, which will start at 9 p.m. on the Fox News Channel.
Trump’s competing event pre-program will start at 8 p.m. ET, and the main event will begin at 9 p.m. ET.
