Death Of 53-Year-Old Man Prompts Investigation By Melbourne Police, Seek Person Of Interest

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Melbourne Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is asking for the public’s assistance for any information related to the suspicious death of  53-year-old Kent Douglas Wilbanks.

The victim was found early Monday morning in the parking lot on the block of 800 E New Haven Ave.

When Wilbanks was found he was unresponsive and was taken to HRMC where he later died.

The Police Department is also seeking to identify the person shown in the below photograph as he is believed to be a possible witness needed for this investigation.
