BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol Troopers are on scene of a fatal hit and run crash in Brevard County that occurred on Satellite Boulevard and Dean Avenue, located west of I-95 and north of State Road 520.

According to FHP, the victim was jogging southbound on Satellite Boulevard on the east side of the road as the suspect vehicle, a gray Chrysler, was traveling southbound on Satellite Boulevard at an unknown time early Monday morning.

The identity of the victim has not been released pending notification of next-of-kin.

According to FHP, at a time yet to be determined, the victim was struck by the vehicle and came to a final rest in a ditch just after 7 a.m.

The gray Chrysler then fled the scene with damage to the front end, possibly the headlight and turn signal area.
