ABOVE VIDEO: Brevard County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 26-year-old Andrew Richard Reed of Unincorporated Cocoa immediately following an Armed Robbery on Friday at the Community Credit Union, located at 7380 Murrell Road in Viera.
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 26-year-old Andrew Richard Reed of Unincorporated Cocoa immediately following an Armed Robbery on Friday at the Community Credit Union, located at 7380 Murrell Road in Viera.
According to the Brevard county Sheriff’s Office, a clerk said the suspect implied he had a weapon and demanded money. The clerk then gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money from the register and the suspect left on foot.
An off-duty Deputy Sheriff was alerted a robbery had just occurred and then saw an individual matching the description. The deputy identified himself and Reed was taken into custody without incident.
At the time of arrest, Reed was still in the possession of evidence relating to the robbery.
Reed was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery and transported to the Brevard County Jail under a No-bond status.
