WASHINGTON D.C. – Following President Barack Obama’s request for U.S. Congress to close Guantanamo Bay base and transfer prisoners to the United States, Rep. Bill Posey issued the following response:
“Instead of calling on Congress to close Guantanamo Bay, which I believe sends the wrong message about our resolve to confront terrorists and keep Americans safe, the Administration should prepare a plan to defeat ISIS and their terrorist allies as required by law,” Posey said.
