Traffic Crash In Titusville Kills One Pedestrian On Cheney Highway

One person has been killed in a vehicle crash on U.S. 1 near The Wet Spot Bar, located at 3650 Dixie Highway NE, at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Monday, according to the Palm Bay Police Department.
At around 7:50 p.m. Thursday evening, Titusville Police responded to a report of a traffic crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian at 3590 Cheney Highway, according to Amy Matthews of the Titusville Police Department.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – At around 7:50 p.m. Thursday evening, Titusville Police responded to a report of a traffic crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian at 3590 Cheney Highway, according to Amy Matthews of the Titusville Police Department.

Officers arrived to the scene and the preliminary investigation revealed that an adult male was struck in the west bound lane of Cheney Highway by a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV).

The driver of the SUV remained at the scene.

The male pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation of the traffic crash is currently being conducted by the Titusville Police Department.
