BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – Capt. Jeffrey Dixon, USCG, Sector Commander and Captain of the Port for Jacksonville and Port Canaveral was the guest speaker at the Propeller Club luncheon held on February 3 at Fishlips Waterfront Bar and Grill.

Capt. Dixon discussed some of the latest issues affecting the multiple Coast Guard missions both on a national and international level as well as issues impacting Port Canaveral.

He noted that the men and women serving in the U.S. Coast Guard today are among the best and brightest the service has ever had.

The Propeller Club of Port Canaveral is a Maritime Industry business networking organization and is a chapter of the International Propeller Club of the United States.

The club holds monthly luncheons the first Wednesday of each month except in April, July, and December when special events are held.
