VIDEO: Astronaut High Graduates Wilber Marshall, Cris Collinsworth Recognized by NFL

ABOVE VIDEO: As the National Football League celebrates its 50th Super Bowl this season, coaches and players of the past 49 super bowls are being celebrated.  Commendation was paid to these players and coaches and their high school communities that have positively impacted this game. 

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – As the National Football League celebrates its 50th Super Bowl this season, coaches and players of the past 49 super bowls are being celebrated.

Commendation was paid to these players and coaches and their high school communities that have positively impacted this game.

Astronaut High received two commemorative golden Wilson brand footballs, to recognize two players who graduated from the school and were on an active super bowl roster: Wilber Marshall and Cris Collinsworth.

Nearly 3,000 players and head coaches, and more than 2,000 high schools, will be recognized this week.

“Football has always been about more wins than losses. The game teaches lessons that last a lifetime,” said Cheryl Shivel, Astronaut’s athletic/activities director.
