VIDEO: Surveillance Footage Spots Cocoa Vehicle Burglary Suspects, Police Seek Your Help

ABOVE VIDEO: Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division continue to investigate a series of vehicle burglaries in a north Cocoa neighborhood earlier this week.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division continue to investigate a series of vehicle burglaries in a north Cocoa neighborhood earlier this week.

Surveillance video from a homeowner’s security camera captured what appears to be three suspects loitering through the neighborhood.

One of the suspects opened an unlocked vehicle door parked in front of the home. He is seen rummaging through the vehicle before leaving with the other two suspects.

The only visible suspect appears to be a white male wearing light colored clothing with light colored high-top sneakers, according to Yvonne Martinez of the Cocoa Police Department.

The suspect appears to be in his late teens. Detectives believe these suspects are responsible for more than a dozen vehicle burglaries in the area of Shellie Court, West Sherwood Circle and Longbow Road, according to Martinez.CRIMELINE-435-1

The victims reported missing cash, cell phones, jewelry, pocket knives, medications, a rifle and a semi-automatic handgun among other miscellaneous items.
