Brevard Sheriff’s Office Investigating Gas Pump Skimmer Discovered In Cocoa On Monday

The Florida Department of Agriculture discovered a “skimmer” installed on one of the pumps in Cocoa Monday while conducting routine inspections at the Sunshine Express located at 7490 Grissom Parkway, according to Cpl. Dave Jacobs of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The Florida Department of Agriculture discovered a “skimmer” installed on one of the pumps in Cocoa on Monday while conducting routine inspections at the Sunshine Express located at 7490 Grissom Parkway, according to Cpl. Dave Jacobs of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff’s Deputies were notified and responded to the scene and Agents with the Economic Crimes Task Force are currently working with the store management and the Department of Agriculture to determine when the “skimmer” was installed and to identify if anyone may have had their accounts compromised.
