active bench warrant for failure to appear

CENTRAL FLORIDA, USA – The Florida Highway Patrol is seeking information on wanted Orange County fugitive Carey C. Price, who has an active bench warrant for failure to appear in a DUI Manslaughter case.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Price was southbound on the inside lane of State Road 417 approaching the E-Pass lanes of the University Toll Plaza. As the vehicle approached the toll plaza it entered a construction area in which the inside southbound lane was closed.
The lane closure was marked by three foot orange cones and a lit arrow board which directed the traffic flow to the right (outside lane).
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Price apparently swerved to the right to avoid striking the arrow board, and as he did, placed the vehicle in a collision course with the southbound outside barrier wall.
Price then swerved to the left and lost control of the vehicle, which entered the inside southbound lane of State Road 417 where the right side of the vehicle struck three road construction workers.
The vehicle then impacted a construction vehicle, re-crossed the southbound lanes and crashed into the outside barrier wall where the vehicle came to final rest facing west.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Price has an active bench warrant for failure to appear with regards to DUI Manslaughter.
