Step Up For Autism 5K Run Event Set For April 2 In Titusville

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Step Up for Autism on World Autism Day at Eastern Florida State College’s 5k Run/Walk is set for Saturday, April 2nd at 8 a.m. at the Chain of Lakes in Titusville with a free Kiddie Run at 9 a.m.

Race proceeds will create a scholarship to benefit Eastern Florida State College students with special needs participating in the Student Access for Improve Learning (SAIL) Program.

Early registration is $20-$30 per person, depending on the date.

In person registration is $30 per person.

Early Packet Pickup Friday, April 1from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Chain of Lakes Pavilion near the softball fields.

The race uses an electronic timing system that records race time and place via a transponder chip that will be given out at registration.

Each individual competing in the 5K is required to use the race chip. Official times will not be recorded without a chip.

There will be a clock at the finish line to view your time.
