VIDEO: UCF Completes First Week of Spring Camp; Offense Shows Improvement, Defense Wins Week 1

ORLANDO, FLORIDA (UCFKnights.com) – The pads were out on Friday when UCF completed its first week of Spring Camp on the practice fields.
The Knights donned their full jerseys and pants they wore in games during the 2013-15 seasons. And just like the first two practices of the spring, the electricity remained high all of the way through until the final whistle.
UCF’s offense has had to make some big adjustments to the fast pace head coach Scott Frost has installed. While the defense proved to be the winner in week one, the offense’s improvement since the first day has been very noticeable.
Plenty of former Knights have been out to practice or to the football facilities this week, including Bruce Miller, Jordan McCray, Justin McCray, E.J. Dunston, Jimmy Fryzel, Sean Beckton Jr., Rocky Ross, Mike Cullison and UCF’s first head coach Don Jonas.
Practice No. 4 will get underway on Monday. A day later, Frost will be throwing out the first pitch for the Houston Astros’ Spring Training game against the Atlanta Braves in Kissimmee.
