PALM BAY * BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — A road refurbishing project in Palm Bay will cause lane closures on several roadways, the city said in a new release.

Crews will be working on Firwood Avenue (from Halloran Street to San Filippo Drive), Crescent Street-Dagget Avenue and  Fortune Avenue (north of San Filippo) and Brickell Street (from Eldron Boulevard to Emerson Drive) for the next 10 to 15 days, the release stated.

Crews will be working on the project from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays. The city warns that one lane in the area of work will shut done and drivers may experience delays.

The city’s project managers say this is the second phase of a $4.3 million program. Phase one, which also involved several roads, was completed in February.
