UPDATE: Rollover Crash In Melbourne Causes Chemical Spill Near Babcock St. and Hibiscus Blvd.

UPDATE: Melbourne Police and cleanup crews have cleared the scene and traffic is back to normal Monday afternoon.
“Traffic is back to normal at Hibiscus and Babcock streets thanks everyone for their cooperation,” said a spokesperson for the Melbourne Police Department.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police are advising drivers to avoid the area near S. Babcock St. and W. Hibiscus Blvd. due to a reported rollover crash that has spilled a pool chemical on the road.
Police warn drivers of congested roads until further notice.
HazMat is reportedly heading to the scene to assist in the cleanup.
Status of the victim(s) is not known at this time.
