BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Brevard County’s own Space Coast Crew has added more hardware to their collection at the Florida State Sculling Championships held in Sarasota’s Nathan Benderson Park.

Over the April 16-17 weekend, Space Coast Crew achieved amazing results for the club at the Florida State Sculling Championships.

Rowers eligible to compete in the Florida State Sculling Championships are members of the Florida Scholastic Rowing Association (FSRA), which is comprised of 35 schools and clubs with 297 boat entries.

Space Coast Crew had four entrees with only the girl’s team competing this year. All four entries made it to the the finals. The Freshman Double had big shoes to fill as Space Coast Crew rowers, Sydney Novak and Marrissa Scalise, took home the trophy the previous year.
