The southbound lanes of U.S. 1 are currently shut down at State Road 528, and will be closed for at least the next hour.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The southbound lanes of U.S. 1 are currently shut down at State Road 528, and will be closed for at least the next hour.

This is due to a water main break in the 2300 block of U.S. 1. Motorists should avoid the area if possible.

Work is underway to set up a contingency lane through this construction area.
